Mrs. Diller (laughing): Of course. Do you like our costumes? Believe it or not, I had all of this stuff in my closet. Isn't that way out?

Jetta: Way, way out.

Mrs. Diller (gasping): Ooh, look! Now there's a scary sight. Who can that be?

Jetta: Gee, let's see, who on Birdwell Island is stories tall?

Mrs. Diller: Yoo Hoo, "Mr. Big scary lion." Did you escape from the zoo? [Clifford barking]

Clifford: Nothing?

Cleo (in 1960s hair and glasses): Not even that? Hey, looking good, T-Bone! [Mummy T-Bone barking] You look almost as spooky as the ghost dog of Birdwell Island.

Jetta: Well, it didn't scare me one bit. Nothing ever scares me.

Charley: That's too bad, Jetta. Sometimes it's fun to be scared on Halloween.

Emily Elizabeth: Especially, when you know it's only pretend.

Charley: Hey, Emily, where's your big red lion?

Emily Elizabeth: He's still at the beach trying to figure out how all those people got into the movie screen.

[Clifford sniffling around the smelled like chlorine in my sheet. Clifford goes through the movie sheet]

Jetta: Whatever. Let's go, Mac.

Emily Elizabeth: Good night, everybody.

Pedro: Night.

Victor: Adios.

[Clifford is covered in white sheet and the lion hat in his organ note plays with a wind]

Clifford: Hey, what was that? [Wind gusts with a white sheet on Clifford screams] What's going on? I can't see anything! What happened to the lights?

[Jetta is using the flashlight with Storm's female orange tabby cat mewled two times, Sunny meows]

Jetta: Whew! [Clifford moaning in sheet]

Mark: Jetta's pretending to be scared.

Mrs. Diller: That's the spirit, Jetta.

Mac: It's the ghost dog of Birdwell Island!

Cleo: I thought you said there's no such thing as ghosts.

Jetta [Panting]: It's big, it's white, and it's coming this way!

Mr. Bleakman: Well, I have to admit, I've never been so glad to see that dog in my life.

Mrs. Bleakman: Poor Clifford. The sheet they used for the movie screen must have fallen on top of him.

Emily Elizabeth: It's ok, Clifford. Everything's ok. I'm right here. [Clifford whimpering]

Jetta (under the table): Uh, is the ghost gone yet? [Mac whimpers]

Charley: What difference does it make? Nothing scares you and Mac, right, Jetta?

Jetta: We weren't scared.

Charley: Then why are you under the table?

Jetta: Well, uh... Heh heh...

Emily Elizabeth: Jetta-- [Jetta's screaming] It's ok to be scared. Everyone gets scared sometimes, even big, brave dogs like Mac.

Jetta: Uh, yeah. I guess you're right. Mac really was scared, wasn't he? [She takes off Mac's Frankenstein mask while he is whimpering]

Emily Elizabeth: So was Clifford. Next year, we're going to use a sheet for his costume. Next Halloween, he'll be Clifford, my big white ghost.
