Overview

Charlie promises to teach Emily Elizabeth how to fish, but he keeps putting off until "tomorrow" to do something else. When Jetta makes him realize that he let Emily down, he learns how important it is to be responsible and keep his promise.

• Cleo, T-Bone, and Mac do not appear in this episode.
• This episode is similar to Promises, Promises where one of Emily Elizabeth's close friends promises to do an activity with her only to cancel last minute to do something else instead. Charley does this twice with Emily Elizabeth in the episode before he makes up for his actions.
• In this episode, when Emily says, "Hi, Charley.", Jetta says, "Catch any fish today?" loudly, Charley says the last line, which is "Sssh, You'll scare the fish away." to make it a rhyme.
